If you've ever thought of purchase a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models will be available during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, so you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.
Its design is superior to the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties, which is great for reducing your cleanup time.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it all over the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand that other robots couldn't do. And all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.
The j7+, though not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's hard to determine if the update is actually working until you see it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. These robots come with a water tank so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. They also come with many additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock produces some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and while it doesn't have some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little missed corners and along walls.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's designed specifically to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed it can be done without difficulty. It also comes with a large LCD display which is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't essential for most people however it can help you effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and features are some of the top available however, it's also expensive.
The base station looks nice and hides it when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's the only robovac that I've used that has done an excellent job of removing the dust from floors with no. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It's not able climb stairs as well as some competitors,, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
robot vacuum cleaner best buy and mop is a great choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do it all.
If you're looking to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of other options available, including a lot of eufy models priced considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper, but offers more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.
4. eufy RoboVac g30
eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors as well as carpets and mopping function too at an affordable price point. It's easy to set it up, simply connect one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to place the dock close to an electrical outlet and plenty of room for it to move, however.
robot vacuum cleaner best buy is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it is able to be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting sleek black finishes and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which cleans the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The most important characteristic that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to make an image of the immovable objects in its path. It can remember the things it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring expenses, charges more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be empty as often and comes with the boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 however is less expensive and a lot more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky materials such as cereal.
